Leading Companies Partner with Tongle to Elevate Workplace Wellness

**FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

[Kuala Lumpur, 13th of February, 2025] – The modern workplace is evolving, and with it, so are the expectations of employees. In an era where mental health and well-being are no longer optional discussions but essential priorities, forward-thinking companies are stepping up to create healthier, more resilient work environments. Watsons Malaysia, BMW Group Malaysia, Agoda, Tesla, Intercontintental KL, and CUCKOO Malaysia have taken bold steps, partnering with Tongle to champion mental health initiatives that make a real difference in the lives of their employees.

At Watsons Malaysia, the journey toward a more supportive workplace began with the Tongle Mental Health Aider (TMHA™) Workshop. Across two intensive sessions, employees at every level—senior management and executives alike—were empowered with the skills to recognize and respond to mental health challenges. For some, it was an eye-opening experience, shedding light on struggles that often go unnoticed. “I personally like it; definitely, it’s good. It’s really meaningful and can also actually help the community around you,” shared a People Development Controller. Others echoed this sentiment, realizing that mental health awareness was no longer a luxury, but a necessity in today’s fast-paced world.

BMW Group Malaysia also recognized the need to foster a culture of care within its workforce. In a heartfelt effort to bridge the gap between productivity and well-being, the company launched its “Foundations of Well-Being” workshop with Tongle, providing employees with the tools to practice self-care while navigating the pressures of the corporate world. “I think it’s a really good topic. Mental health is something we are not entirely aware of,” one participant admitted. But by the end of the session, there was a shift—an understanding that prioritizing well-being was not only beneficial to individuals but to the organization as a whole. Inspired by this success, BMW is already preparing to deepen its commitment with a follow-up workshop on psychological safety, reinforcing the idea that a workplace should be a space of trust, not just a place to work.

At CUCKOO Malaysia, the commitment to mental wellness took on an even broader scope. Employees from across departments came together for two immersive workshops—one focusing on mental health awareness and the other training dedicated Mental Health Aiders. For many, these sessions were life-changing. “This workshop is very awesome, so I recommend you to attend!” one participant enthused, while another reflected, “I think I’ve learned a lot. I feel that this course is good.” CUCKOO is now looking toward the future, eager to equip even more employees with the knowledge and confidence to support one another.

What unites these companies is not just their leadership in their respective industries, but their belief that a thriving workforce is one where well-being is prioritised. Mental health is not just an individual concern—it is a collective responsibility. By investing in initiatives like those led by Tongle, organisations are not only enhancing productivity and efficiency but also creating a culture where employees feel valued, understood, and supported.

The impact of these programs extends beyond the walls of these offices. When employees’ well-being is prioritised, they can bring their best selves to the workplace, engage more meaningfully, and foster an atmosphere of trust and collaboration.

In taking this stand, Watsons Malaysia, BMW Group Malaysia, and CUCKOO Malaysia are setting an example—one that others will surely follow.
